Nov 18, 2018 · InEffect: this is exactly how it functions. it basically turns your shield into off-hand weapon. you do need more feats for it, though. shield bash, TWF line, double slice and shield master. +bashing finish, so crit feats (in case of paladin you can use keen from bonded weapon) as well and good crit range weapon. It's a big commitment. Double slice gives full str bonus to off hand weapons. Ranger and Slayer can get all of the dual wielding feats without any dex needed. Shield bash with a heavy shield also works as a str off hand weapons aviable and it's one of the better options if you have the spare feats.
