Polaris rzr 800 cranks but wont start
Nov 28, 2010 · now restarted polaris, it did die fully in about 2 seconds after starting it. gas is 3/4 fuel. i restarted again 2 more times and all sounded normal and correct. when i got home, restared 2 more times, no issues. it alweays ran fine, sounded fine while driving today. Hey guys, I have a 2011 900XP. After riding around the house one day I turned the engine off. Went to crank it back and the dash lights came on. The fuel pump cycled. Then as I turned the key past that to start it , I got one click. That's all. No start. No engine turning over, Nothing. Cycled the key again and got the same thing.A failed fuel pump is another possible reason for a car cranking but won’t start. If the fuel pump fails, fuel can’t get to the engine, making it impossible for your car to start. A faulty or damaged pump is a common problem, especially in older cars. A bad timing belt can also cause a car to crank but won’t start.

I just bought a 2011 rzr 800 with a blown engine. I put a new engine in from rev6. I also put in new spark plugs and new injectors. Also new air filter. I had it started and running fine after the engine was in. The next day I tried to start and it would only crank. I have a 2012 RZR 800 with a starting issue when its cold sometimes it just cranks but does not fire, I cycle the fuel pump several times and have to walk away for about 5min and most of the it fires up and runs all day.7 abr 2021 ... Engine Died While Driving and won't crank back. I have a 2009 RZR 800. Took it out today to check deer cameras . Ran fine at first . After riding for approximately 30 mins it died and now won't crank back . Radio and winch work fine so I don't think its the battery . When I turn the key over it makes a whining noise .on my 08 rzr the fuel pump will run when I turn the key on but the rzr wont try to start. Spray starting fluid into the intake while cranking the engine - if it starts on starting fluid, you eliminate the engine and ignition system as potential problems - check the fuel pressure or replace the fuel pump or both. Guages lit up but wouldn't turn over or even try to turn over. Thought maybe it was batterynot giving enough juice. Tried jumping it and still didn't do anything when trying to start it. Turn the fuel petcock to PRI (prime) and try again. When it starts (fingers crossed), let it run a bit. Then turn it to ON. Put one in the gas tank to mix with the gas there. If you have access to the carburetor, pour part of the bottle of cleaner into the carburetor and work the throttle and choke back and forth a few times with the cleaner in place. Well to be totally fair, using a pressure washer is OK, as long as you keep the pressure down to about 500 to 750 psi - over 800 psi and getting within 3 inches of certain things will cause problems.
