I don’t think STP filters are inherently bad. A common problem with leaking oil filters is they sometimes get double gasketed. Meaning that the gasket from the old filter sticks on there. So then you have the gasket that comes with the new filter and the old filter gasket stuck to the engine.Is this STP oil filter any good?
